New Projects Under Way

Yes they are. This week is my spring break from school (thank gosh!), so we've spent this time improving our place. However, in this post, I'm not revealing the improvements just yet--only the before shots!

Last week was filled with fresh coats of paint in the office and our bedroom. We then decided to paint our huge family room a simple gray (that's really the name of the color) to help the room look not-so-giant and overwhelming. We had ladders, paint cans, and plastic everywhere.


We also had Roxie everywhere, which made it hard to paint with her constantly sniffing, licking, and stepping all over our work space. By the end of the night she had gray paws.

And the other big project? Finally, some wood trim around the windows! There is a man sawing in our garage as I type and it's getting me pretty anxious to see the finished product! For right now, we have a house full of ripped-out window sills.

Not too pretty if you ask me.

When the window project is finished we plan to schedule the custom blinds to be installed. "After" pictures will come soon!
