New House!

Well, our house hunt is finally over after a year of searching. Matt & I bought a house in Avon on Thursday night! It is perfect for us, with a yard for Roxie, plenty of space, and everything we could want plus more! We close in early February, and we couldn't be more excited to move in and fill it up with stuff... but still no kids for awhile, so stop asking. :)

We couldn't be happier about our decision to buy this house. It is the scariest experience ever, since it's by far the most money we've spent in our lives, but it's totally worth it. It's in a great location where it's close to family--both Mejeans AND Piersons. :)

Late on Thursday night, after meeting in the M/I sales office and signing the purchase agreement and all that jazz, we went to our house to slap that sold sticker over the sign in the yard. I wanted Matt to put it sideways for a more dramatic effect, but he, being the perfectionist he is, thought it was more appropriate to place it directly over the word "available" since it's not anymore.

So what's next? We've been starting to pack things up to move out of our apartment, as well as perusing stores and magazines for home decor ideas. After we get settled in, we expect YOU to come visit us!
